Meet Spencer, your host
Spencer was made for hospitality and has honed his skills throughout his professional career. Prior to his Innkeeper role, he specialized in events and catering in Washington, DC where - for 12 years - he coordinated everything from Supreme Court galas to intimate, backyard weddings. His geniality and joie de vivre make him the perfect, welcoming host and concierge for our guests, working to ensure each visit to the Inn at Cook Street is an unbeatable experience.
Spencer believes that cooking for others is the greatest expression of love. Nothing pleases him more than seeing the joyous satisfaction a creative, thoughtful meal can provide the Inn’s guests as a start to their day.
The Inn at Cook Street is fortunate to have had Georgia and Dawn on staff for over a decade. Georgia and Dawn take immense pride in perfectly setting the guest rooms, anticipating every need. They work hard to ensure immaculately clean and crisp rooms, while also assisting in making each breakfast special and memorable.
Spencer, like so many before, was immediately enchanted upon his first visit to Provincetown, whose siren song has beckoned his return time and time again. He had long fantasized about “someday” jumping into his dream job of running a place that is a cozy and modern “second home” for guests while offering a soothing retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily demands.
Finally, this “someday” dream became “why not today?”
